Pumpkin Spice Oreos: This Could Really Be Happening

If you’re looking for something to dip into your Pumpkin Spice latte, Nabisco might have you covered. Yes, it’s yet another novelty Oreo flavor, and yet another pumpkin spice flavored something-or-other. Of course you can have Oreos for breakfast. Stop looking at me like that.

Tipster Ryan sent us a quick photo of a package of the cookies, which had already been opened, presumably because pumpkin spice items are delicious.

Of course, fans of novelty Oreo flavors have been burned before, but this one seems plausible enough. Word on the street–and by “street,” here I mean “Internet snack community,” because I don’t leave the house–is that pumpkin spice and caramel apple Oreos will hit shelves soon. You can have them with your candy apple M&Ms, maybe.

We don’t just have this blurry photo from Ryan to go on, though: they’re sneaking out into the wild. We haven’t seen a photo of the caramel apple Oreos yet, but they are in the ShopWell database.

Consumerist contacted Nabisco for confirmation that these flavors are real, and they haven’t responded yet. If you obtain a bag of these cookies, please let us know how they are. We’re slowly losing faith in the edibleness of pumpkin spice flavored products that are not actual pies.
